This Payment Policy explains how payments are accepted, processed, verified, and refunded on M72 Merch.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept available payment methods shown at checkout. Payment options may vary by country, device, browser, payment provider, and checkout settings.

Depending on availability, payment methods may include:

  • Credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and other supported cards
  • Digital wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay where available
  • PayPal: if enabled at checkout
  • Other payment options: any additional methods shown at checkout

Note: A payment method is only available if it appears during checkout.

2. Shopify Payments

M72 Merch uses Shopify Payments and other supported payment providers to process payments securely.

Shopify Payments allows us to accept major payment methods directly through our Shopify checkout. Your payment details are handled by secure payment providers, not stored as full card details on our own servers.

3. Currency, Pricing, and Taxes

  • All prices are shown in USD unless another currency is clearly displayed on the website or at checkout.
  • Taxes, shipping, duties, customs fees, or import charges may be calculated at checkout when applicable.
  • Your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion fees, international transaction fees, or other charges.
  • M72 Merch does not control bank fees, card issuer fees, currency conversion charges, or foreign transaction fees.

4. Authorization and Verification

For customer protection and fraud prevention, some orders may be reviewed before fulfillment.

  • Payments may be subject to card verification, AVS, CVV checks, or other fraud prevention tools.
  • Where required or supported, 3D Secure or additional authentication may be requested during checkout.
  • Your bank may place a temporary authorization hold to confirm available funds.
  • If verification fails, payment is declined, or fraud is suspected, we may cancel the order or request another payment method.

5. Order Confirmation

After payment is completed, you should receive an order confirmation email with your order details.

If you do not see the confirmation email, please check your spam, junk, or promotions folder. If you still cannot find it, contact us at support@m72merch.com.

An order confirmation means we received your order. It does not always mean the order has shipped or that production has started.

6. Payment Security

Payments are processed through trusted payment providers such as Shopify Payments and PayPal where available.

Shopify stores are PCI compliant by default, and Shopify Payments is designed to help process payments securely. We do not store your full credit card number on our own servers.

7. Shop Pay and Digital Wallets

Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other digital wallets may allow faster checkout by using saved shipping and payment details on eligible devices.

If Shop Pay Installments or other installment options are available in your region, the applicable terms will be shown during checkout.

8. Payment Declines and Billing Errors

If your payment is declined, please check that your card number, billing address, expiration date, CVV, available funds, and bank permissions are correct.

Some banks may block online or international purchases for security reasons. If this happens, contact your bank or try another payment method.

9. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

  • Refunds are processed only after approval under our Return and Refund Policy.
  • Once issued, refunds may take 5 to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • Original shipping costs may not be refundable unless the refund is due to our error.
  • Bank fees, currency conversion fees, international transaction fees, customs fees, duties, and taxes may not be refundable by M72 Merch.

10. Fraud Prevention and Order Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel, refund, or refuse any order that appears unauthorized, fraudulent, suspicious, incomplete, or in violation of our policies.

We may also cancel an order if payment cannot be verified, the billing information does not match, the product is unavailable, or there is a pricing or checkout error.

If an order is canceled after payment has been captured, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.

11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you have an issue with your order, please contact us first so we can try to help.

Opening a chargeback or payment dispute before contacting us may delay the resolution process. We reserve the right to provide order records, tracking information, customer communication, delivery confirmation, and policy details to the payment provider if a dispute is opened.
