Product Description
Bring home the fierce college-town energy of Metallica’s M72 World Tour with this poster canvas for the May 7, 2025 show at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Virginia. Created by Moe Dime, the artwork features a charging bird mascot fused with a skeleton chest and aggressive claws, giving this Blacksburg concert poster a bold, high-impact and instantly recognizable heavy metal style.
The design centers on a powerful maroon and orange bird-like creature lunging forward with oversized talons and clenched fists. Its open jacket reveals a skeletal ribcage, blending mascot spirit with a darker horror-inspired edge. The intense expression, forward motion and comic-style linework make the artwork feel loud, energetic and ready to burst off the canvas.
Behind the creature is a bright blue sky backdrop with a large white plume-like form, while the lower section includes a stylized stadium structure that grounds the design in the Blacksburg event setting. Across the bottom, the poster text reads Lane Stadium, May 7, 2025 and Blacksburg, VA, tying the artwork directly to this stop of the M72 World Tour.
The maroon, orange, blue, white and black palette gives this poster canvas a striking wall presence that works beautifully in a music room, bedroom, office, studio, dorm, home bar or record corner. It pairs naturally with black frames, guitar displays, vinyl shelves and other rock or sports-inspired decor. For fans collecting city specific Metallica tour artwork, this Blacksburg piece stands out through its mascot-inspired creature design and strong United States event identity.
